CLEVEDON WINDOW CENTRE SEES SLIDING SASH DEMAND SOAR

Clevedon Window Centre diversified into sliding sash windows as the replacement window market approached saturation point, and hasn’t looked back since. “We established the company nine years ago, but been in the industry for 25,” says Steve Anderson, Partner, “and chose Masterframe Windows as a totally professional supplier in terms of product and service. Masterframe manufactures premium PVC-U sliding sash windows to rival the originals. We were delighted to be selected by Masterframe to be a Bygone Preferred Installer (BPI), as it proved our dedication to serving the homeowner. As part of the BPI network, we also get exclusive access to the Bygone Collection window. It now comes with white foiled woodgrain, branded hardware and continuous horns as standard. Customers love it – it looks and feels so authentic.”

Clevedon has seen demand for sash windows just grow and grow. “We get real leads through being listed on the Bygone website, with gross profits of around 45% to be made. The seminars we attend as Bygone Preferred Installers make us feel part of a team – ideas and information from other installers helps stimulate and rejuvenate the business.”
