SOLAGLAS RECOMMENDS MASTERFRAME SASHES

Anyone who works in the commercial sector knows how difficult it can be to control quality of product and installation on a large scale. Projects must be finished on-time and on-budget, or your reputation, and potential for business can suffer. Saint-Gobain Solaglas’s specialist Contracting Division demands the best from all its suppliers, and uses Masterframe Windows Ltd, the specialist manufacturer of premium PVC-U sash windows for several contracts.

“The Local Authorities and Housing Associations we work with often specify the products they want used down to the last detail,” comments Dirk Marsh, Business Manager at Solaglas. “We recently won a contract for a new build project in Battersea for 1,000 properties. The customer specified Masterframe for its accreditations, such as its British Board of Agrément ‘system status’, which certifies a life expectancy of 20 years for the whole window, rather than just the profile. On site, the overhead vents in Masterframe’s Heritage sash window make installations easier, and the Torso balance springs Masterframe uses are more robust – balances in other sashes we’ve used in the past have been known to fail. We’ll be using Masterframe’s sashes for the one to three bed town Battersea houses and apartments, and the job should be finished by the end of the year.”
