Masterframe Trade
BLACK AND WHITE AND WOOD ALL OVER
In business since 1976, Traditional Windows was a founder member of the Bygone Preferred Installer network, and has worked with specialist sash manufacturer Masterframe Windows Ltd for 10 years. The Essex-based installation company recently helped refurbish a £1.5 million Tudor style house in Brentwood with Masterframe’s PVC-U Bygone Collection sashes. The property still had gas pipes for lighting and the customer wanted the house restored to its original look. Two of the windows were large three sided bays. Traditional also fitted the windows with timber work externally, to make them look even more authentic.
Traditional Windows’ installers are all professional carpenters, with some working for the company for over 20 years. “We used one of the leading vertical sliders before we switched to Masterframe,” says Jimmy Deane, owner of Traditional Windows, “but there’s no comparison. Our customers aren’t looking for a quick fix: they expect a high quality product and service. They are as concerned as we are to retain the character of their homes, and the heritage. The Bygone Collection sash is a premium window: the most authentic on the market place. In fact, although timber windows have traditionally had small sealed units for air cavities, since Document L they can often look bulkier than PVC-U.”
“Over the years I’ve worked with other organisations that promise the earth but never deliver. Masterframe sees its customers as entrepreneurs, and helps us run more smoothly and profitably, to grow our business.”
