INSTALLERS TO FIT MASTERFRAME VERTICAL SLIDERS IN GLASSEX CHALLENGE 2006

Masterframe Windows Ltd, specialist manufacturer of high-quality PVC-U sashes, is sponsoring the Glassex Challenge competition again this year. The competition will run daily, and installers from all over the UK will compete to install a door, a bay-window, a conservatory roof and a Masterframe vertical slider.

Masterframe’s Managing Director, Alan Burgess says: “Installers are often afraid to install sash windows. They’re a bit different, demand accurate fitting and are perceived as expensive. Installers find that innovations like our ‘lift-in, lift-out’ pivot bars make our vertical sliders easier and quicker than ever to fit, and better profit margins are well worth the effort.”

Because performance is judged by independent experts and takes speed and finish into account as well as health and safety, winning the Glassex Challenge is a real coup for installers, as Romsey Conservatory Company found out, taking UK Installer of the Year and UK Conservatory Installer of the Year in 2005.
