MASTERFRAME FLIES FLAG FOR WER ON STAND E44 AT GREEN BUILDING EXHIBITION ECOBUILD
High-quality PVC-U window manufacturer Masterframe Windows Ltd will be promoting the Window Energy Rating on stand E44 at construction exhibition Ecobuild in Earls Court 2, London, on 22-23 February. Its green, ‘C’ rated Bygone Collection window is the only Energy Saving Recommended sliding sash in the UK and can reduce CO2 emissions by 74% compared to a single glazed timber original. Masterframe’s presence at Ecobuild follows on from its G05 Energy Efficiency of the Year Award, won in 2005, and Managing Director Alan Burgess’s speech at two conferences on sustainability organised by Sustain magazine last November.
“We believe it is vital for representatives from the PVC-U window industry to ‘fly the flag’ at events and exhibitions like this,” declares Alan. “Promoting initiatives like the Window Energy Rating to green consumers can help develop a new and exciting market for fabricators and installers alike. But it’s not just about the environment: our windows are virtually indistinguishable from the timber sash originals, and increasingly accepted by planners and conservation officers as sympathetic to the heritage of Britain’s houses. Manufacturers and suppliers (of materials and services) from across the UK have the chance at Ecobuild to meet with developers, architects, planners and policy makers. We’d like to invite interested parties to our stand to make the most of this opportunity – ring Sonia Smith on 01376 511211 for more information.”
Exhibitors include the Energy Saving Trust, The British Research Establishment, Aggregate Industries, Bauder, Marley, Monodraught and Vent Axia.
