PLANNERS ARE AMAZED WITH THE NEW LONDON SASH

Sash windows are generally square on the outside to fit the external brickwork and square on the inside, to fit the internal reveals. Whilst some frames are swept head, arched or curved there is a style that to date has been impossible for PVC producers to replicate, an arched sash infill but a square headed sash and frame internally.

Having used a prototype on a school, the technical guys at masterframe realised that their unique staff bead trim, enabled them to recreate the same arched staff bead effect only previously available on timber sash windows.

Whilst the same opening styles and design choices exist, the frame is recessed completely behind the external brick outer skin, just as the original sash windows would have done.

Conservation officers was amazed when they first saw the window as were competitors at the FIT show!
