Procurement & Logistics Officer – Maternity Cover

Role: Procurement & Logistics Officer – Maternity Cover

Term: 6 Months – possibly up to a year

Start Date: Mid – late January

Hours of Work: 08.30 – 17.00 Mon–Thurs, 08.30 – 16.30 Friday.   Lunch 1 hour

Person Required:

  1. Keen attention to detail
  2. Highly organised, methodical and tenacious working under tight turnaround times
  3. The role is very cross-functionally oriented, we require the candidate to have at least 3 years+ experience/ awareness and an understanding of Customer Service, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Finance, production planning, supply chain, stock management and lead times experience in a high-volume environment.
  4. Good IT systems knowledge and skills including Excel and the ability to learn new software packages
  5. A good effective and proactive communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally written and verbal
  6. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  7. Analytical and problem solving skills
  8. Numeracy, statistical and reporting skills with the ability to analyse, interpret and manage information, data and trends
  9. Collaborative approach to working with others
  10. Experience of capacity/forecasting modelling and planning.
  11. Experience and knowledge of fleet management, logistics planning in accordance with legislative constraints would be an advantage.
  12. The appetite to learn and develop.
